1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how DromoMinds (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information in connection with the Bangla Calendar Android application (package name: com.dromominds.bengalienglishcalendar), available on Google Play.

Bangla Calendar is a bilingual Bengali–English calendar for viewing dates, festivals, holidays, and related cultural information. By installing or using the app, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

2. Age suitability — children are welcome

There is no age restriction for Bangla Calendar. The app is rated for everyone and is suitable for children as well as adults. Families, schools, and younger users may use the app freely.

In particular:

Children of any age may view the calendar, festivals, and holiday information.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children (or from anyone else).
We do not ask users to create an account, enter a name, email, phone number, or date of birth.
We do not use the app to target children with personalized advertising based on personal data.
Content is educational and cultural (dates, festivals, holidays) and is appropriate for a general audience, including children.

We are committed to following the Google Play Families Policy for apps that may be used by children.

3. Information we collect

We do not collect personal data. Bangla Calendar does not require registration and does not request personally identifiable information such as name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or device identifiers for our own analytics or marketing.

Festival dates, calendar data, and related content are stored with the app so that core features work offline. That information is cultural/reference content, not your personal data.

4. How we use information

Because we do not collect personal information, we do not use personal data for profiling, advertising audiences, or sale to third parties. The app uses on-device content to:

Display Bengali and Gregorian calendar dates
Show festivals, holidays, and event information
Support bilingual Bengali and English viewing
Provide optional local reminders / upcoming festival notices on your device (when you enable them)

5. Data sharing

We do not share personal data with third parties, because we do not collect it. We do not sell, rent, or trade user information.

6. Advertising

The app may display advertisements through Google Play / advertising networks as disclosed on the Play Store listing (“Contains ads”). Ad serving may be handled by third-party providers under their own policies. We do not sell your personal information to advertisers.

If you are a parent or guardian and have concerns about ads shown to a child, you can manage device advertising preferences in Android settings, or contact us using the email below.

7. Permissions and device features

Depending on the version of the app and features you enable (for example, festival reminders or notifications), Android may request standard system permissions such as notification access. These permissions are used only to deliver the feature you choose on your device. We do not use permissions to harvest personal data for our servers.

8. Data security and retention

Since we do not operate a user account system or personal-data backend for this app, there is no personal profile stored on our servers to retain or delete. Uninstalling the app removes the app and its local data from your device according to Android’s normal uninstall behavior.

9. Children’s privacy (COPPA / Families)

Bangla Calendar is intended for a general audience including children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your country). If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through any channel, please contact us and we will delete it promptly if any such information was received.

10. Third-party links and stores

The app is distributed via Google Play. Google’s own terms and privacy practices apply to your use of the Play Store, downloads, ratings, and payments (if any). This Privacy Policy covers our Bangla Calendar app specifically.

11. Changes to this policy
